"We are Asunta, a cosmetic tattoo studio built on artistry, precision, and intuitive beauty."

Kellee holds 7 certifications in cosmetic tattooing, including a rigorous 4-month mentorship program with a Beauty Angel’s Academy elite feather brow artist in London.
In 2020, Kellee was the first artist to introduce machine hair strokes, also known as “Nano Brows”, to Arizona, bringing the highest standards from the global stage to the State.
Known for her work in Nano Machine Hair Strokes, Hyperrealism Brows, and Eyeliner Tattoo, Kellee combines technical precision with an artist's eye to create natural, flattering results.
Kellee’s journey into owning ASUNTA started with a vision to create a place where artistry could thrive without the constraints of short-term business goals. After becoming the top booked artist at a newly established Scottsdale studio, Kellee realized that, despite her success, she felt limited in her ability to truly serve her clients and lead her peers.
She was restricted by business models that prioritized metrics over quality and client care. Feeling a deep calling to take her expertise to the next level, Kellee decided to create ASUNTA Cosmetic Tattoo—a studio that would not only elevate her artistry but also empower other artists.
Creating a space where both artists and clients feel fully supported and valued, focusing always on delivering the best possible results.
Artists are encouraged to find their own voice. We take the time needed to provide clients with the highest level of care and education.
Continuing to push the boundaries of cosmetic tattooing, refining skills, and embracing the latest industry innovations.
We may not yet have the most beautiful interior design, but we have the most beautiful clients.
Kellee — Founder
Two Visionaries.
One Shared Standard.
Defined by Excellence.

ASUNTA Cosmetic Tattoo was established at the intersection of industry-leading expertise and a relentless pursuit of perfection. The partnership was forged when Kellee, an established powerhouse in the cosmetic tattooing industry, met Nina, an elite high-end makeup artist transitioning her artistry into permanent cosmetics.
Despite extensive training, Nina recognized a gap between technical theory and the world-class healed results her clients deserved. A pivotal technical collaboration with Kellee didn’t just refine Nina’s technique—it transformed it. This moment sparked a partnership rooted in a shared obsession with precision and the "science" behind the art.
"Navigating one of the most competitive beauty markets in America, Kellee and Nina built their reputations on a foundation of discipline and focus. As single mothers, they developed a high-stakes work ethic, bypassing industry distractions to focus entirely on their craft and their clients."
This unique perspective allowed them to co-create a boutique tattoo studio where authentic connection meets stunning, professional results. They recognized a need for a space where artistry, integrity, and kindness are never compromised for profit.
Today, ASUNTA Cosmetic Tattoo is more than a studio—it is a center for excellence in cosmetic tattooing. Kellee and Nina lead a team dedicated to:
From this shared vision, ASUNTA was born. Whether you are a client seeking the best permanent makeup or an artist looking to elevate your craft, you are in the most capable hands in the industry.
ASUNTA Cosmetic Tattoo is where technical precision meets elevated intuitive beauty in advanced cosmetic tattooing.
Why Cosmetic Tattooing in the Sonoran Desert Is a Whole Different Art Form
Growing up in the desert gave me an early education in what the sun really does to skin and it was personal. Before I became a cosmetic tattoo artist, I was already reading skin–my own skin, without even knowing it—seeing the dehydration patterns, the UV damage, the fine lines that show up decades early.
So when I say desert tattooing is its own specialty, I say it with intense personal interest artists not from here genuinely don’t understand and underestimate.
Combine desert heat and humidity that often drops below 10%, and you get skin that’s dry, textured, delicate, and unpredictable.
This makes cosmetic tattooing—where our margins of error are the thickness of tissue paper—especially demanding. Sun-damaged or dehydrated skin holds pigment differently. In a single eyebrow the dermis can be tough as nails to penetrate in one area and completely fragile in the next.
Because I’ve lived my entire life in this climate, I’ve developed a deep intuition for desert skin. I adjust needle depth, pressure, pigment viscosity, and stretch based on subtle changes. I understand that what looks like “normal dryness” to an out-of-state artist is actually compromised barrier function.
The Secret to Healed Results
I have clients increase water and electrolytes 48–72 hours before their appointment. Hydrated cells respond more predictably to tattooing.
Avoid Hyaluronic Acid.In the desert, HA pulls water from your skin. Instead, slug with Aquaphor nightly for a week to replenish lipids.
No last-minute sun exposure. No tanning. No “I was only out for an hour.” Fresh UV exposure destabilizes the epidermis and ruins retention.
Mastering cosmetic tattooing in the Sonoran Desert means learning to work on some of the most challenging skin conditions on earth. It isn’t just my specialty—it’s my home.
